The new 2016 Kia Cadenza is the right car for anyone who wants high fuel efficiency, and a great looking car with great lines. Coming with a fantastic 3.3-liter V6 engine that runs at an excellent 293 horsepower, it runs at 19 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway, for 22 miles per gallon overall.
The Cadenza comes in three different models, ranging from the low-end base to the high-end Limited.
The base model features 18-inch wheels and an eight-inch touchscreen navigation system. Voice recognition software comes standard, as does the leather upholstery, heated front seats, a rearview camera and a 550-watt sound system.
The Premium model brings with it a sunroof, steering wheel paddle shifters, a backup warning system, and a 12-speaker system with subwoofer.
The high-end Limited model includes everything you have with the Premium model, as well as active HID headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, Advanced Smart Cruise Control, a lane-departure warning system, an electronic power break, heated and ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel.
Moving onto safety, something that has always been important for Kia, all three models of the vehicle feature anti-lock brakes, stability control, eight airbags throughout the vehicle and more. With an upgrade to the Technology Package you also get monitoring of blind spots, water-repellant glass and the lane departure warning system.
When you get behind the wheel of the Cadenza, you are going to see that it is a well-designed vehicle on the inside. Its seven-inch LCD display shows you everything you need for your drive. Many have compared the inside look of the Cadenza to that of a BMW, where the driver is the key component and consideration. The main controls in the vehicle are laid out very logically. The touch screen features easy to understand and use icons, much like an iPad.
The material used in the car's interior is very high-quality. One nice feature is the simple analog clock that is set up on the dash.
Looking at the ride of the vehicle, the suspension is really well-designed, and provides a great deal of stability even when on rough pavement. When driving on rough pavement, you will barely spill your coffee and the road noise will be kept to an extreme minimum. Even with the added punch of the V6 engine, you are not going to feel as though you are vibrating all over the road because of the high-quality suspension design.
Once again, Kia has proven that it is one of the leaders in providing a comfortable vehicle that is designed beautifully, with safety and fuel mileage taken into consideration. It is great sedan for a family looking for the luxury feel at a lower price, or for the single person wanting something that looks great, runs great and feels great. If you go with the Luxury Plus package, you are getting everything you could want out of the vehicle and the price is something most can easily afford.
