Design Enhancements

The 2019 Kia Optima comes standard with LED daytime running lights for greater visibility, a new 16-inch alloy wheel design and matte gray-finish grill. The Kia Optima has a more refined exterior style for a more aerodynamic design. This design makes it look tighter and sophisticated than previous models for a new, refreshed look. The Kia Optima S includes new projection beam fog lamps, LED taillights, and a standard push-button start. All of this for a better, more convenient driving experience.

Safety

The 2019 Kia Optima comes standard with Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA), which can automatically apply the brakes to reduce speed, which may minimize the effects of a frontal collision. The Forward Collision Warning System (FCW) aims to help keep an extra set of eyes on the road to help you avoid an accident. There is also Lane Keep Assist (LKA), which may apply corrective steering if it senses the vehicle drifting outside the intended lane. The Lane Departure Warning (LDW) gives drivers an alert, so they can correct their driving to stay safe on the road.
